Pratst

Studio invitation

Bring your studio to Pratst

Pratst connects artists with beats, recording studios, and mix & mastering engineers — so songs move from idea to finished track in one place.

What Pratst does

Artists find a beat, book a studio session to record vocals, then book a sound engineer to mix and master the track. Your studio sits in that journey — visible to artists who are ready to book and pay through the platform.

  • Artists discover studios alongside beats and engineers
  • Booking requests come with the track context already attached
  • Deposits and session balances are paid through Pratst
  • You approve, decline, and deliver session files from your account

What your studio can do once registered

Appear in the studio directory

Show your rooms, rates, location, and photos so artists can find and choose you.

Receive booking requests

Artists send session requests with preferred dates, notes, and the beat they are working on.

Approve and get paid

Accept a request, collect a deposit, complete the session, then request the remaining balance before uploading vocals.

Manage client trackcards

Track every active session from Producer suite — no chasing WhatsApps for files or payment status.

Also register a sound engineer

After vocals are recorded, artists book mix and mastering. A studio account alone does not cover that step — you need a Sound Engineer profile as well (on the same Pratst account, or by inviting an engineer you work with).

  • One free Pratst account can hold both a Studio profile and a Sound Engineer profile
  • Engineer profiles appear in Mixing and Mastering and receive mix requests
  • If your studio has multiple engineers, invite them to affiliate with your studio
  • Profiles are free to create — you earn when artists book and pay

Why studios join Pratst

Artists arrive ready to book

They already have a beat and a trackcard. You are not starting from a cold enquiry — the project context is there.

Clear payment flow

Deposits and balances run through PayFast. Less chasing invoices; more confirmed sessions.

Built for the full song path

Beat → booth → mix. Studios and engineers that complete both profiles stay in the artist journey end to end.

Free to list

Creating an account and profiles costs nothing. You only earn when artists choose you and pay for sessions.
