On a session

Every mobile booking comes down to four simple steps:

Accept the Session
- Get Notified: A request arrives by email when an artist near you needs a recording session.
- Secure the Slot: Claim the gig through your dashboard if you are free.
- Coordinate: Reach out to the artist to confirm parking, gate access, and setup space.

Prep Before You Leave
- Pack the Kit: Grab your laptop, interface, microphone, reflection filter, stand, and two pairs of headphones.
- Import the Instrumental: Load the artist's beat into your DAW template and listen to it before you arrive.

Run the Session
- Set Up & Gain Stage: Set up in the quietest part of the room and keep vocal levels averaging between −10 to −18 dB.
- Apply Live Monitor Effects: Turn on real-time Autotune, reverb, delay, and light compression in the artist's headphones during tracking and punch-ins to give them maximum confidence.
- Record: Guide the artist through their main takes, backing lines, and ad-libs across the 2-hour window.

Upload & Get Paid
- Export Clean Audio: Bundle the final vocal takes into a single .zip archive of completely raw, dry .WAV stems with no effects baked in.
- Submit Your Update: Log your hours on the TrackCard and include your technical tracking notes (like the Autotune key and speed) for the mixing team.
- Payout: Earn a guaranteed R1,050 (R800 session fee + R250 travel call-out) credited straight to your account, plus R400 per hour for any billed overtime.
